Alyssum ‘White’ is an annual valued for its delicately scented blooms and low-growing, spreading habit. It produces masses of tiny, pure white flowers and reaches an average height of 10–15 cm, making it suitable for beds, borders, containers, and edging. It thrives in well drained soil in full sun or partial shade, flowering typically between late spring and autumn.

Choose a well-drained, fertile spot with full sun to part shade. Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Lightly sprinkle the seeds on the soil surface and gently press them in, as they need light to germinate. Keep the temperature around 18-21°C for germination. Mist the soil to keep it moist but not soggy. Once the seedlings have grown strong and the outdoor temperatures are consistently above 10°C, harden them off and transplant them into the garden, spacing plants about 15-20 cm apart. Water regularly and deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming.
