Cayenne Red Pepper

Cayenne Red Pepper is of a medium heat, maturing from green to red.  The peppers are long & thin (12cm long by 1.5cm). They are primarily considered a culinary spice, once your chillies have dried, wearing gloves and remove the stems and seeds. Slice the thicker peppers into rings and the thinner peppers in half. Grind the chillies in a food processor and store in an airtight container ready to use or to make into your own blend of Cayenne powder.
