Sedum makinoi is a stunning variety of stonecrop, rising to around 5-10cm in height with a spread of 30-50cm. Flowering in summer, its small yellow star-shaped flowers and low-growing, spreading habit make it perfect for rockeries, borders, gravel gardens and ground cover planting.
This stonecrop variety thrives in well-drained soils and full sun to partial shade. It is ideal for attracting bees and other pollinators, while its attractive succulent foliage provides long-lasting interest throughout the growing season.
Its compact growth and drought tolerance make it an excellent low-maintenance choice for container and alpine gardens.
