Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil. Plant bulbs approximately 10-15 cm deep and space them about 10-15 cm apart, ensuring the pointed end faces upwards. After planting, water thoroughly to settle the soil and maintain moderately moist conditions throughout the growing season, especially during dry spells. Apply a balanced fertiliser at planting time and again in early spring to support healthy growth and prolific flowering. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering and allow foliage to naturally wither before trimming back.
