- Planting Sow seeds at 0.5cm deep, do not heavily cover as light is needed for the germination
- Soil Type Fertile, moist but well drained
Sow seeds indoors or under cover in warm conditions 4-6 weeks prior to the last frost in individual pots or trays (around March-April). Sprinkle seeds over trays and cover with 1/4 inch fine soil. Ensure the soil stays partly moist and warm during germination - preferably somewhere that gets plenty of sunlight like a windowsill. Can be sown directly outdoors after danger of frost has passed where they are to flower 0.5cm deep. Water well until established.
